Well, here's my first blog post. And if I'm being totally honest, I'm not sure where to even begin. So I suppose I'll just start...
Starting this photography business has me feeling all of the emotions: excited, anxious, nervous, passionate, ambitious, fearful... you name it. However, I've come to realize that those emotions come with anything you truly want. So here I am, making it happen, one day at a time and why do I love it so much? To get to hang out with couples like this.
Nicole and Jesse asked me to take some pictures of them - they have never had professional pictures done and of course I jumped at the opportunity. The trusted me with everything and I did not want to let them down, so we hit the road and drove into Back Bay Wildlife Refugee - a secluded little beach getaway - to take some pictures. We hit the jackpot for lighting and these lovebirds did not let the cold get to them, they powered through laughing and smiling the whole time. I shot as they danced in the middle of the street, completely entranced in each other and when I asked Nicole afterwards about their relationship she took my breath away. "I have never felt more at home and safe," she said, "than I am with him."
I love photography because I get to capture unwritten loves stories. I get to tell those stories again, and again.
